The Kids are growing up!

So this Monday Oct 25th I went to the Dr.to find out what we are having.
I took the kids out side to take some pictures. They looked so cute they wanted to match. I can't believe how big they are getting. Karley is 5 Tyson is 3. They were excited to find out what the baby is. I am excited to say that it is going to be a BOY!!!! So baby #3 is on the way. Due March 20th.

We have been so busy lately here are a few family things we have done lately.
Eric gets some Mondays off so we like to plan a family outing. This is what we did in September. We went for a hike. It was so fun the kids did great. They found a lizard and Eric caught it. Speedy Eric!

Our Next trip was in October after watching conference the kids wanted to go to the conference center.So we did we took a tour of it. The kids had had a great time. They keep asking what is our next adventure. It was fun for them to see all of Temple square.

The New Paint!!

I am finally updating. I guess it takes something big for me to update. I just spent last week PAINTING!! I paint the kitchen Green and the rest of the down stairs tan and brown. I love it I don't know why it has taken me almost 4 yrs to paint my down stairs. I LOVE IT!!
The kitchen is so bright it is my happy place!

I will try to update some more as the new decorations come.

We Had a BLAST it is hard to leave Grandma and Grandpa. We love being at there house. Here are some of the things we did while we were there.

We helped Grandma make Apple Pie YUM YUM I made a bannana cream it was good too.

Karley and I got our hair cut. Karley wanted it like Taylor form High School Musical 3. So that is what we did. I just cut about 2 in and styled it different. We both love our hair cuts. Thanks Meggan!

Karley and Tyson Watched High School Musical 3 with Grandpa. They would jump down to dance and then right back on Grandpa's lap.

Tyson and Karley love to play I took some fun pictures of them Just playing and having fun.

We Had a Great Tea Party. MY cousins Jamie and Ashley came with there girls, Sydney, Sarah, and Live. It was so fun. After the tea party we we made 10 loaves of wheat bread. Oh and I did not take any pictures we just ate it. YUM YUM

The other pictures are just of us all being out side have fun together. Karley was scared to get on the four wheller and know that is what she like to talk about she had fun she was laughing the whole time.

We went to a park by may parents house that is such a neat park it had so much to do. Tyson loves to climb and Karley was running and sliding too. What a fun relaxing trip. I love being with my parents.

We are in Idaho having a great time with Grandma and Grandpa. Karley and I got our hair cut yesterday. We look so cute.. Pictures will come. We are looking forward to going to the library today. Karley and grandma are planning a tea party. It is going to be so fun. Tyson has had fun exploring grandma and grandpa house. He found a big stuffed dog of my brothers that he has loved wresting with.We went to grandpa's new work and got to see were he teaches his collage students.It was fun to be with him. We have a big week planned so we will update latter with pictures. oh and of course we have watched High School Musical 3 a few times already.

The month has come and gone. We had so many things planned that the time just flew by.We had so much fun. We had so many party we just did not know when to stop. I am going to recap on some of the fun times we had this Christmas. We loved having my family here. Sister and Brother in Law for North Carolina and Mom and Dad form Idaho. We all got to talk to my brother in AZ on his mission. What memories we we will always have.

Candy night with the Bates. We made truffles, chocolate and Carmel dipped pretzels, and much more. Everything tastes good in CHOCOLATE!!!

Christmas Party!! Ugly Sweater contest. Tyson our little elf won I think.

Time to see Santa Karley was bumping her self up all week she was going to be brave and not cry. She did great. Tyson was a different story.

Wade sent us a box and in it was shirts for all of us a rubber band gun for Tyson. Karley got jewelry. We all took a family picture.

Christmas eve we made cookies for Santa.

Christmas come and we all had a wonderful White Day. I love the Christmas Time. I is a time to reflect on our savors birth and all the wonderful family's and blessing we have.

I am sure all of you are falling off your chairs because I have updated my blog!!!!I would love to say that I have been on a long vacation and I now have a golden tan. But we all know that is not the case. Lets just say I have taken the summer off from blogging do to my great computer. I will try to get some picture up form all the fun things we did this summer. One of the funnest things we did was Disneyland.

Where Did We Go In April?

April has come and gone and I did not make one post so here are some of the places and things we did.
We have played with lots of friends. We played dress ups, ate lots of chicken nuggets and had lot of fun in the mean time. We Love having so many fun friends that we can go and do fun things with.

The Utah Football game. Eric took Karley and they had a blast Karley loves to go to the games with her Daddy. Tyson was all dressed in his Red Utah shirt but it was to windy. There will be many more games to go to. We are all so excited to go.

Tyson is so in to food. He loves to eat every thing some of his favorite are Ritz crackers, marshmallows, bitter biskets, and Dad even let him have a BLUE sucker!!! He is working on his teeth. Nothing yet though.

Time flies when your having fun. Or your a mom of two kids. I can not believe that Tyson is 6 mths today. He is such a joy to have in our family. He makes us all laugh. He is a wonderful little boy.

This is his new favorite thing to do. He loves to eat everything. If it is not marshmallows or the veggie he should be eating it is his toes. We all love ya Tyson!!!

Easter came so fast and was over in a flash. I had so many cute pictures of all of our fun event I decided to do a slide show. I hope you all enjoy. We had a week full of fun. From Easter egg hunts to decorating cookies and matching dresses. We had a eventful easter. Karley was so excited to see that the easter bunny had brought her the movie High School Musical 2. She said "OH thank you easter bunny."

Karley and her imagination. I never know what she is coming up with next. Today she was going to grandmas house to play with toys. The towel was her coat and who knows what the rest was. Her newest thing is to be Gabby from High School musical she like Troy and all aways talks to him. She has a micro phone that she loves to sing all the songs.

I don't know were the months are going. March is here. That can be a good thing though. It means SPRING is coming. Yesterday we went on a picnic with Eric. He works by a golf course were there are lots of geese. He had been telling Karley about them she wanted to go see the geese at Daddy's work. So we made it a date. I picked up Eric and I favorite sandwiches form the village baker and Karley wanted her chicken nuggets for Wendy's. Then we met Eric for a picnic. It was so fun to be with him and to be out side it just got me excited for spring. Karley had so much fun she wants to go back when the baby geese come.

ZOO DAY

We had to get out of our zoo (the house) and go to the animal zoo. The last Wednesday of February the zoo was free. It was one of the first days of somewhat spring and so we went. We had such a fun time. It was nice to be out side. Karley said her favorite animal was the elephant. We had a picnic lunch with our friends. Tyson had his for big day out in the stroller. He did great.

Happy Birthday Eric!! February 19th was Eric's 28 th Birthday. We had so much fun with him ALL DAY. He took the day off of work. We started the day by going to the Temple and then we had lunch and went shopping and out to dinner. Sunday the Bates Crew came for dinner and cake and ice cream. It is always so fun to have the family down. We hope he had a great birthday. Happy Birthday!!

My Mom and Dad come down to visit in February. I have not posting for a long time so this might be lot of picture of all the fun things we did in February. I can not believe it is March all ready. I am so ready for the spring!

Good Things Utah!!

For those of you that don't know i am a HUGE Good Things Utah Fan it is a show that is on every day at 10:00 on channel 4. I have wanted to be a guest on the show for a long time. On February 14 th Valentines day I got to go. My mom was coming to town that day and so I got tickets for my mom and I to go. My Dad watch Tyson and Karley went to pre school. (Thanks Dad) Oh we had a blast. I was hoping that because it was Valentines day they would be giving out some fun prizes. Oh it was my lucky day. They had a jeweler there that was giving away 4 pieces of jewelry. I WON a $199 pearl necklace. Oh I was so Happy. That was not all I won a heart shaped pizza. What a treat, we had lunch planed when we got home. I love being able to go and do this with my Mom i just love her to death. (Love ya MOM) So I am wanting to go again. I had so much fun. In the picture there are 3 of the 4 host. Oh and yes 2 of them are wearing their prom dresses from the 80. They don't wear that all the time.

New Things in Life!

Our baby Tyson is getting so big. He has been trying new things. Rice cereal, new toys and he can roll form his stomach to his back, He is such a bright spot in our life. Karley is such a big helper She always wants to help she helped feed his the cereal. He was not a huge fan and I think it gives him and upset stomach so we are going to what a little while longer.

I like to open them and read what they said and Eric likes to eat them. So as I was opening it and reading it it said there is excitement in you’re near future. As I read it Eric was down on one knee and had the ring box open. He then asked me to marry him I was so excited. How sweet. I love him so much.

Last week I took the kids to the libary. We needed to get out and we had some books to return. Karley loves books and loves to read to Tyson. I decided it would be fun to go and do something out side of the house. New books to read was going to be the plan. As we got ther Karley said she needed to go to the bathroom so we went. Lets just say thank goodness for strolers. Going to the bathroom with two kids can be hard. Then we were done off to look at the books. Karley picked out a book and went to sit on the little couch to look at the book. The next thing I herd was " I NEED TO GO POOP!" It was loud and her came my little girl running saying "MOM MOM I NEED TO GO POOP!" I could not believe it. I did laugh inside. A quite place and my 2 yr old was letting everyone know what was up. I do have to say i was proud of her for telling me because we have been working on the potty training thing.(it was harder then i thought it would be) She was so proud of her self for telling me and going. I was too but kids say the funnest things. I love her to death. We countinued to have a great night at the libray. The picture are at home i could not help to blog this funny day.

Daddy's Little Girl!!

Go Jazz !!!
Monday night we took Karley to the Jazz Game for the First time. She loved it she was so excited all day. She was wearing her Jas cheerleading dress all day and could not wait for Eric to come home form work. Karley is my little sports girl. She loves going to the Utah Football came with her dad, uncles, cousins, and grandpa (I have gone too) she wants to take her brother when he gets bigger. She was so amazed with the Jazz bear. He rode a bike down the stair and on to a ramp. He crashed at the bottom. Karley was concerned that the bear needed to go to the Dr. We had to tell her that the bear was CRAZY and that he was going to be fine. Eric took her to go get a treat; they came back with a PINK ice cream cone. What a surprise this girl loves ice cream just like me and of course it had to be pink she is a girl! It was a great family home evening. Tyson Stayed with Grandma Cindy and she was looking forward to that for along time. He did great he even took a bottle YA WOO Tyson.

So the fun at the Bates house! I have wanted chocolate chip cookies for a while. So Sunday I decided it was going to be the day. Of course I can never cook anything with out a little helper. Karley loves to help me cook she always pulls her chair over to the bar and helps with what ever I am doing. Sunday it was the yummy cookies. I think that she ate more of the dough then the cooked cookies. Can you blame her though? That is my favorite part too. We had fun making a mess in the kitchen. That night we decided to make some cards and we were going to take some cookies to some friends. She wanted to make one for her teacher and Desmond because he is sick. I love that she is so aware of the needs of others. She is an amazing little girl. She made the cutes little card with my stamp (That was an adventure) she was so happy to do it all by her self. I love being with my kids.
